On the afternoon of October 18th, our company held the “World's First Natural Gas Propulsion Multi-Purpose Ocean Shipping Wheel Construction Contract Signing Ceremony” in Shanghai, and with Norwegian Transportation Company (Nor Lines) and Global Power Systems Corporation Rolls Roy Rolls Royce signs the relevant shipbuilding contract.
Pure natural gas power propulsion multi-purpose ocean-going transport vessel is designed and developed by NorLines under the requirements of the Norwegian government to save energy and reduce emissions. It is designed and developed by Rolls-Royce Marine AS to meet the requirements of IMO exhaust and trace emissions to the atmosphere and the ocean.

Compared with the traditional diesel engine of the same type, the natural gas main engine can achieve the goal of reducing carbon dioxide compounds by 35%, reducing nitrogen oxides (NOx) by 95% and zero emission of sulfur oxides (SOx). In the past two years, Nor lines has found suitable partners in more than 20 shipyards around the world including Germany and South Korea. In the end, our company stood out in the nearly rigorous multi-round evaluation jointly conducted by shipowners and design companies. It reflects the shipyard's leading technical capabilities in the industry.
The undertaking of this project will bring our company's shipbuilding level to a new level and will lead the new progress in China's shipbuilding technology.
